VISION & MISSION
In Grace Littles we provide a safe environment where children will discover the vision and mission of Grace: building a community to reach a community by loving God, loving people, reaching the lost and making disciples of Jesus Christ.
GRACE LITTLES MINISTRY
Grace Littles is located on the west side of the church, off the welcome center. Each Sunday, parents check in with their children at one of the check-in stations. Each child receives a name tag with a unique security code printed on it, and parents are given a label with the security code that matches their child’s.
Children attend age-level classrooms:
- 0-24 months room
- 2 year old room
- 3 year old room
- 4 year old room
- 5-6 year old room
WHAT TO EXPECT
In Grace Littles, we provide a safe environment where children will discover who God is through biblical teaching and truths. We currently are using a curriculum from AWANA called Brite*. This curriculum is rooted in sound biblical teaching and is discipleship-focused. Children engage in interactive Bible stories, worship songs, scripture memorization and simple crafts and activities that all tie into the Bible teaching each week. A take home page is sent home each week that has the monthly big question, brite idea, and memory verse on it. There is also a QR code linked to a monthly family calendar that includes further discipleship opportunities tying into the Bible story each week. Our prayer is that what we are doing on Sunday mornings, along with what you are doing at home, is helping to lay a foundation that produces lasting faith in our children. One of Awana’s driving forces is their desire for children to grow into resilient disciples- children who say, “I believe in Jesus, I’m becoming more like Him, and I belong to Him forever.”
